Last week I had a difficult time turning the valve on the gas logs for my fireplace.  I analyzed the job and decided to leave it to the pros.  I stopped in at Fireplace Patio in  Willowbrook and met a nice young man named Gabe.  I asked if they did “fireplace tune-ups” and he said they did.  We talked about various new valves and what the service would entail.  I set up a time the next day and he was right on the minute.  He assessed the situation and we decided on the new valve to use.  He then began the job.  He laid out a nice heavy drop cloth to keep the area clean and then began disassembling the unit.  He had to turn the gas off in the entire house and did so.  When he replaced the valve he turned the gas back on and made certain that the furnace and hot water heater were working properly.  He commented that the grate we had was for wooden logs and was a bit small for our fireplace.  I asked if he had a new grate in his truck but he said he’d have to get one and come back 2 days later.  Once again, he was on time and had a couple of grates to pick from.  We got the right one, he put in the embers and stone and assembled the logs for a perfect fire.  As soon as he lit it up, my wife and I were both amazed at how it looked compared to what had been installed about 12 years ago.  Point is, this job was worth every penny and we have enjoyed a nice fire each night since thanks to Gabe.  As seniors, we have a lot of workmen in for various jobs and Gabe was probably the most professional and personable worker we have ever had.  He was very concerned that everything was done neatly and that the final result was to our liking.  He’s a really nice young man and we could recommend him to anyone who inquires.

I just stopped in to browse gas logs for my fireplace, I was greeted quickly by Phillip and shown exactly what I was looking for. I needed a gas line run to the fireplace and he gave me a competitive quote on the entire job. I left a small deposit to start the process.  An installer called me and was able to stop by the same day to assess the gas line install. It was a difficult run but they held the original quote.  The installer, Greg,  returned within a week at my convenience and completed the install in four hours. He was clean, courteous and answered all of my questions.  He also demonstrated the operation and safety measures. I am very happy with the entire process and love my new gas logs.
