Fireplace Types
Do you want to burn wood, gas logs or natural gas? What type of venting options does your home offer? No matter what type you choose, our quality fireplaces deliver safe, comfortable and reliable heating while complementing the design of your home.

Our fireplace types include:

  • Wood Burning Units
These units burn wood or gas logs. They must be vented vertically with only a slight flexibility in the venting from the top of the unit through the roof.
  • Direct Vent Units
These units run on natural gas. A glass cover remains on the unit at all times. Direct vent units provide a more convenient system of venting, as they can be vented directly out the wall or up through the ceiling.
  • Vent-Free Units
These units run on natural gas. The burner’s technology allows for real-life gas combustion to a real flame — with no venting required. Vent-free units are an ideal application for homes that lack the ability to install venting.
